In a celebration of creativity, global friendship, and youth empowerment, Mr. Haru Mehra, the President and CEO of L’Association Frehindi (Le Frehindi), was recently honoured as the Guest of Honour at the annual show of one of the most esteemed high schools in the Rhône-Alpes region of France.
The event, attended by a full house of enthusiastic students, proud parents, and esteemed educators, was a beautiful showcase of talent, intercultural collaboration, and the evolving spirit of global education. Students presented a vibrant mix of musical performances, theatrical acts, and creative projects, drawing inspiration from a multitude of cultures and academic disciplines. The evening concluded with all performers uniting on stage, greeted by thunderous applause and standing ovation—a testament to the impact of inclusive and holistic learning.
Strengthening Indo-French Educational Ties
The highlight of the event was the school’s official announcement of its long-term partnership with India, under the visionary program “Youth Awareness Program: Creating Links with India”, launched under the patronage of the Embassy of India in Paris. This initiative aims to foster deeper intercultural understanding, youth exchange opportunities, and meaningful collaborations between the educational ecosystems of India and France.
In his address, Mr. Mehra expressed heartfelt gratitude to the school leadership and applauded their commitment to nurturing global citizens.
“Events like these are more than annual celebrations—they are milestones in our collective journey toward building an empathetic, interconnected, and culturally aware youth community,” he remarked.
