Are you passionate about sports, culture, and supporting Indian athletes on a global stage? Here is your chance to make a difference! The Indian Olympic Association (IOA), in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation, is introducing the first-ever ‘India House’ at the Paris Olympics 2024. This 40,000-square-foot facility, located near the Games Village, aims to provide a homely atmosphere for Indian athletes, diaspora, and fans, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and achievements.

What is ‘India House’?

‘India House’ is a unique initiative designed to support Indian athletes and engage with the Indian community and international fans during the Paris Olympics 2024. The facility will offer:

• Indian Cuisine: Enjoy a variety of dishes from North and South India in two dedicated restaurants.
• Cultural Showcases: Experience India’s tourism, digital progress, and cultural activities through various events.
• Sports Science Center: Managed by Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, the center will provide medical and sports science support to athletes.
• Yoga and Wellness Sessions: Participate in yoga sessions to promote health and well-being.
• Meet-and-Greet Sessions: Interact with Indian athletes and celebrate their achievements.

Volunteer with L’ Association Frehindi

To make ‘India House’ a grand success, L’ Association Frehindi ( LAF ) is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist during the event. This is your opportunity to contribute to India’s Olympic journey and gain valuable experience.

Location: Paris
Duration: 20 days (during the Paris Olympics 2024)
Responsibilities:

• Manage stalls and counters effectively.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide support and assistance as needed.
• Organize and oversee stage management activities.
• Engage with the audience to foster a positive environment.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Hindi, with intermediate French and one additional Indian language.
• Must be based in Paris with own accommodation.

Benefits:

• Paid internship (stipend disclosed during the interview).
• Meals (lunch and dinner) included.
• 1-month Paris city transport card provided.
• Internship certificate upon successful completion.
