This first-of-its-kind facility will serve as a “home away from home” for Indian athletes and their families, providing a familiar and supportive environment amidst the high-pressure atmosphere of the Olympics.

• Support Services: The facility will offer essential support services, including medical assistance, mental health resources, and nutritious food tailored to the athletes’ needs and Indian food stalls for all the visitors.

To prepare for their roles, Le Frehindi volunteers underwent an intensive three-day training session. During this training, they immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of Indian art and culture. They learned about various artifacts and handicrafts, understanding how they are made and the artisans behind them. This training also covered the legacy these artisans carry on, allowing volunteers to share these fascinating stories with visitors at the Swadesh pavilion, guaranteeing a seamless and enriching experience for all visitors and encouraging them to support Indian art and culture.
